- I work with youth (12+) and adults from a systemic-relational perspective.
- Sessions can be in individual, couple, and/or family modalities.
- All sessions are online and sessions can be in Turkish or English.
Areas of interest and experience
- Adolescent problem behavior including substance use, running away, and early delinquency
- Alcohol & drug misuse and addictive behaviors in the family
- Common mental health disorders: Anxiety and depression
- Relationship problems of dating, committing, or married couples: infidelity, sexuality, conflict, communication problems
- Adjustment issues in families: Transition to marriage, birth of first child, conflict with in-laws, loss/grief and bereavement, divorce, relocation, coparenting, remarriage & blended families
Clinical Training & Experience
- Doctorate degree from a COAMFT accredited program in US
- 15 years of clinical experience with individuals, couples, and families (including 6 years of supervised clinical practice from a variety of approaches: psychodynamic, structural-strategic, solution-focused, Bowen Family Systems, CBT, Contextual)
- 10 years of supervision experience (including completion of an AAMFT-approved supervision course, 9 month supervision practicum and supervision-of-supervision)
- Trained in evidence-based substance-abuse treatment (MI, EBFT, and A-CRA)
